About the book of Nehemiah
Nehemiah is the 16th book of the Bible and belongs to the History section of the Old Testament. It has 13 chapters. Nehemiah leaves the Persian court to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem in the face of opposition, then leads the people in reading the law and renewing their covenant with God.
