Who this quiz is for
These thirty questions are written for children from about 6 to 12. Younger children can join in when a grown-up reads each question aloud, and confident readers can tap the answers themselves. Every question is about a well-known story, and after each answer there is a short explanation and the Bible passage, so children hear the story again, not just the answer.
Three ways to play
- Read aloud. One grown-up reads each question and its four choices. Children call out or hold up fingers for A, B, C or D. Read the short explanation after every answer, right or wrong, so the story sticks.
- Two teams. Split into two teams and take turns. A right answer scores 1 point. If a team gets it wrong, the other team may answer for the point. Stop after 10, 20 or all 30 questions.
- One story at a time. Use the story guide below. After reading Noah or Jonah together, ask only the questions for that story, then read the Bible passage again and see which answers the children can spot.

What age is this Bible quiz for?

Do the questions follow one Bible translation?
They are about people and events, not exact wording, so they work with any translation. The answer key gives the passage for each question so you can read it together in the Bible your family or class uses.

They are chosen from the Kingdom Bible Quiz question bank, kept to well-known stories, and each one was checked against Scripture by hand before it was published here.
