About the book of Genesis
Genesis is the 1st book of the Bible and belongs to the Law (Torah) section of the Old Testament. It has 50 chapters. Genesis is the book of beginnings: creation, the fall, the flood and the tower of Babel, followed by the stories of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph.
